ADHD Coaching

for Adults

Not against ADHD. With ADHD — coaching for neurodivergent everyday strategies, achieving goals, and wellbeing.

Because ADHD shows up on every level of one's being:

  • physical

  • emotional

  • mental

  • cognitive

  • social

Coaching is not therapy — this distinction matters to me

As a certified life coach, I support you with managing daily life and achieving your goals alongside your ADHD. What I don't do: diagnose ADHD, provide medical or psychotherapeutic treatment, or "cure" an existing diagnosis.

Specifically, this means:

  • Coaching does not replace medical, clinical-psychological, or psychotherapeutic treatment. An ADHD diagnosis can only be made by a psychiatric specialist or a clinical psychologist.

  • An existing diagnosis or medication does not exclude you from coaching with me.

  • Our work together should never lead to reducing or discontinuing an ongoing treatment. If it becomes clear that what you're dealing with falls more into the realm of medical or psychotherapeutic care, I'll tell you openly and refer you, where possible, to the right specialists.

In short: I work with you on your everyday life, your wellbeing, and reaching your goals — not on your diagnosis.

My Approach

Most advice on self-organization, motivation, and achieving goals is designed for neurotypical brains. If it doesn't work for you, that's not a lack of discipline — it's because it was never built with your brain in mind.

That's why in my ADHD coaching, we don't work on squeezing you into a framework that doesn't fit you. Instead, we look together at:

  • How your brain actually works — and which strategies genuinely work for you. For example, the Stopwatch Technique, which breaks tasks down into manageable, tangible units. Or the question "What am I actually motivated by right now?" — because ADHD motivation doesn't follow logic, it follows dopamine and interest. If you notice you can't get started on a task, more discipline usually isn't the answer — the honest question of what's really holding you back right now, and what you'd be motivated to do instead, usually is.

  • How to work with shame, self-devaluation, and the feeling of "always falling behind"

  • How to let go of masking without feeling unprotected

  • How to set and pursue goals in a way that works with how your brain functions — not against it

In coaching, I support you in developing self-acceptance instead of constantly optimizing yourself — and in finding everyday strategies that actually stick.

An important aspect is the so-called Accountability Coaching. People with ADHD are creative and inspired. But following through is often a problbem. We break down big tasks into smaller ones, agree on deadlines, and set reminders. So you can develop suitable routines for you and reach your goals. Jedoch mangelt es oft an der Umsetzung.

Who is ADHD coaching for?

This is for you if you...

  • have an ADHD diagnosis (whether recent or long-standing) and are looking for everyday strategies that actually fit you

  • suspect ADHD plays a role in your life and want a judgment-free space to explore that

  • are exhausted from constantly measuring yourself against neurotypical standards and want more self-acceptance
