My Methods

At the heart of coaching is identifying what's clearly on your mind and supporting you in making it happen. As a life coach, my job is to support you in activating your resources and unfolding your potential. But I don't mean this in the sense of self-optimization, where you constantly have to achieve more and more. Quite the opposite. The guiding principles are: self-acceptance, appreciation, and self-reflection.

A particular focus of my work lies on ADHD: many people with ADHD find that generic self-optimization advice simply doesn't work for them — so instead, I start from an understanding of the specific challenges of ADHD, rather than pushing you into a neurotypical mold.

Together, we look at what's on your mind — whether it's a problem or a goal — and map out a plan that leads to resolving it. We look at the values and beliefs you carry, the identifications that cause you suffering, and the dreams and hopes lying dormant within you. This is where we work cognitively and rationally: we analyze the problem, we plan the steps.

Then we move into feeling: What emotions are present? What are these emotions telling you? What do you need in order to work with these emotions?

The body holds great potential. All emotions and psychological states find expression in the body. So we can use the body to process and work through these emotions.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) was popularized by Gary Craig and is a broadly applicable form of acupressure tapping. It's especially well suited to processing emotions and sorting out thoughts.
EDxTM (Energy Diagnostic and Treatment Methods) was developed by Fred Gallo and combines kinesiological muscle testing to identify specific acupressure points and release deep-seated limiting beliefs.

Particularly with ADHD, this often shows up as shame, self-devaluation, or the feeling of constantly having to put on a mask ("masking"). Tapping is especially effective here because it directly addresses the emotional overwhelm that so many people with ADHD experience in everyday life.

With tapping, you tap the meridian points on your body, which in turn affects your mind. Tapping is an integral part of my approach. In the coaching process, limiting beliefs tend to surface, and by pinpointing the individual meridian points, we can release them quickly and effectively.

Through a combination of breathing and mindfulness exercises, I guide you to dive deeper into your inner experience and unfold your inner potential. This is where my experience as a life coach and as a yoga teacher come together.

Another meditative practice I love to use is Mettā meditation. It helps us cultivate self-love, acceptance, and goodwill toward others. When the heart opens, the soul becomes free too.

Just as I come to see your potential during coaching, my goal is that, by the end of the process, you also recognize your own great worth. You'll get there as limiting beliefs are weakened or even dissolved entirely — a direct and tangible result of applying my methods in the coaching process.

Beliefs like "I just need to try harder" or "I'm not good enough" come up especially often with people who have ADHD — and these methods are specifically designed to release them.
